i. Man and steed first abstract then merge in metal.

ii. Symbiotically fused yet distinct. The rider strains, the horse impassive.

iii. Proportions distorted to elongate the torso to imply motion. The head and tail shrunk to ornamentation.

iv. Tubular legs like handles - shorn of joints.

v. Minimal depth like a bas-relief.

vi. Mirrored isosceles triangles appear as clashing blades.

vii. An athletic spectacle. Virility of the ungelded male.

There is now, in my mouth,
this sharp chain.


And it never comes out.
