Acupuncture is presumed to unblock the energy boulevards of the body but this gothic snapshot of perforation presents a putative symbiosis that may be less wholesome. An oversized insectoid with arachanid aspirations tries the tasting menu. Red puncture marks pepper the torso whilst a darker mark near the hips suggest previous encounters.

The winged vampire is etched with lichen green and its translucence transmits the mossy tones of the drapery behind. It becomes a Freudian tattoo animated in a fever dream. Whilst the curtain begins to be drawn illumination of the nude is already present within the room. The pose is defensive even restrictive but what transgression demands a gaze of such ferocity?

There is just a quantum of vulnerability as the woman partitioned between light and dark chaperones the external world into the frame. The artist creates a cubicle of irresistible unease which acts as an inquisition into the viewer as voyeur and witness.
